Living in downtown NYC, I love following this street art. I could be walking down any random street, look down, and see a message he writes, to what I imagine is someone he is pining over. This has been 2 years of messages. He typically writes about longing for love. Today he caught me by surprise. He wrote of peace. Maybe he has finally found peace in his search for love. Morning Mind
Sitting outside having my morning tea I was wondering “why don’t we love the morning”? Possibly it is our MIND we don’t love. Morning mind can be very yappy. Thought, thought, thought. Yap, yap, yap. But as an enthusiastic Cognitive Therapist I would gently suggest this could be a learning opportunity. So Listen. Knowing your mind allows you to discard what’s useless, embrace what’s helpful, and decrease the darn yapping. Happy Friday Morning!
